The Regional and Rural Council Planning Flying Squad that was launched in November 2011 by the Department of Planning and Community Development to provide advice and assistance to regional and rural councils has commenced work in the Latrobe Valley.
The Planning Flying Squad will assist the Latrobe Valley Council in bringing residential land to market. The Squad will also be providing assistance to recently endorsed planning scheme amendments proposed by the Latrobe City Council.
