It is clear that the property industry is leading the way to demonstrate more sustainable outcomes to other stakeholders in many developments. However, our planning system has failed to adequately address the broad suite of ‘sustainability’ concerns.
The “dialogue with the city” process is clearly an attempt to address this perceived deficiency and give the strategic plan a legitimacy derived from its formulation.
