In a contradiction to the current gloomy sentiment regarding the retail industry, Leedwell Property continues to grow its team and strengthen its position as a market leader.
Leedwell has appointed retail specialist Mark Filipowicz to the role of Director of Asset Management. With a strong property background in South Australia and nationally, Mark was most recently General Manager for the Makris Group.
Mark has had extensive experience in shopping centre management, leasing and development, having previously held senior roles for the ING Retail Property Fund, Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills in Victoria.
"Securing such a well-respected and experienced person to this newly-created executive position further strengthens Leedwell's position as the retail property market leader in South Australia," Leedwell founding director John Savva said.
Karolina Perre had also joined Leedwell's leasing team, signalling further expansion of the company's offering in the retail niche.
"These are strategic appointments for the business as we continue to focus our energies on this exciting and dynamic market," John Savva said.
With a significant portfolio now under management, Leedwell also has several retail leasing and development projects currently underway.
