The Property Council has finalised its submission on the Queensland Government’s Management Rights in Community Titles Scheme discussion paper.
The discussion paper seeks to identify those issues associated with management rights under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (BCCM Act).
The BCCM Act has been amended several times to balance the needs and rights of bodies corporate and lot owners, and developers and management rights operators, and this discussion paper seeks to identify any further amendments that may be necessary.
Our submission corresponds with the issues for consideration highlighted in the discussion paper, including:
