Over 170 industry professionals attended the first instalment in the ‘09 Industrial Breakfast Series on February 18 at Victoria Park Golf Complex.
Participants came to hear about the highly anticipated draft South East Queensland Regional Plan and its implications for the industrial sector in SEQ.
The draft Plan was ‘deconstructed’ by Stirling Hinchliffe MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and Minister for Infrastructure & Planning to determine what, where and when new industrial land supply will come onto the market, how it will be delivered, and what the new Metropolitan Development Program has in store for the future of the industry.
The Parliamentary Secretary was followed by a moderated discussion with key industry players including;
Steve de Nys, National Director – Industrial, Jones Lang LaSalle
Wendy McMillan, Manager – Strategic Development, John Holland
John Kerruish, Project Director, Investa.
