The Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) has released an issues paper on Measuring and Reducing the Burden of Regulation.
The Treasurer and Minister for Trade and the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice have directed the QCA to investigate a framework for reducing the burden of regulation, including both State and local government laws and legislation.
Of note, the issues paper investigates matters relating to native vegetation regulation and water sensitive urban design.
