The Property Council’s first joint Industrial and Infrastructure breakfast: The Great Freight Debate attracted over 230 property professionals keen to hear from industry experts on the future of freight movement in Queensland.
The breakfast, planned by both the Property Council Industrial and Infrastructure committees, featured key note presentations from Paul Ebsworth, Divisional Director; Toll Domestic Forwarding, Peter Keyte, General Manager Trade Services; Port of Brisbane and John McNamara General Manager Business Development; Australian Rail Track Corporation.
The presentations gave in-depth insight into the capacity and shortfalls of our current rail network, and focused heavily on the actions needed from industry and State and local governments to help rail back to the forefront of freight movement.
The presentations were followed by a panel session with the three speakers, moderated by Industrial Committee chair Steve De Nys.
Thanks must go to our committee members, and to our event sponsors Coffey for their ongoing support of the Infrastructure breakfast series.
