On Friday July 13 over 130 property professionals and media attended the Property Council’s first Sunshine Coast Luncheon for 2012 to hear from newly elected mayor Cr Mark Jamieson.
Cr Jamieson focused on the Council’s goal to create Australia’s most sustainable region; socially, economically and environmentally. He emphasised Council’s plan to remove roadblocks to development and return investment and jobs to the Sunshine Coast.
The luncheon also marked the launch of the Sunshine Coast arm of Make My City Work campaign, titled ‘Connecting the Sunshine Coast’. The Sunshine Coast Regional Council are signatories of the campaign, which is aimed at building a conversation around the future growth of the region.
