Building Codes Queensland is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Queensland Development Code (QDC) to streamline the process for building over or near an infrastructure service.
The draft QDC aims to provide timely and consistent assessment of building work over or near an infrastructure service across Queensland, leading to a reduction in red tape and cost savings for industry.
