On Thursday June 14^th the Property Council Future Directions committee’s inaugural ‘Meet the Boss’ networking event brought over 100 young professionals together with the elite of Queensland’s property industry.

The sold out, ‘speed-dating’ style event gave attendees access to some of the biggest names in the sector including; Liz Pidgeon, Director - Cornerstone Properties, Peter Ward, General Manager Qld / NT - Lend Lease, Col Robertshaw, National Head of Property Finance - Commonwealth Bank, Damian Winterburn, Partner - CapLand Real Estate Advisors, Jim McKnoulty, Chairman – RPS, Angus Harvey Ross, Senior Director - CBRE Global Corporate Services, Andrew Borger, National Head of Commercial - Leighton Properties, Michael Rayner, Director - Cox Rayner, Mark Burow, Managing Director - Rider Levett Bucknall, Michelle Dance, Head of Corporate and Structured Finance - Leighton Properties and Paul McLean, Chief Executive Officer - Savills Australia.

All attendees were encouraged to ask questions of the ‘bosses’ about their career and climb to the top. The informal setting also stimulated interesting conversation about the state of the industry and what the experts think about the future of the sector.
