The Property Council has provided detailed feedback on ACTPLA’s Sustainable Future Workshop Findings Report.
The Property Council supports in principle ACT Government aims to enhance Canberra’s sustainability, and was pleased to participate in the stakeholder workshops conducted by ACTPLA. The workshops captured a broad range of issues, particularly around environmental sustainability.
However, the Property Council has raised a number of concerns about aspects of the Report, particularly a number of proposed planning outcomes which appear to disregard the involvement and importance of the Commonwealth Government through the National Capital Authority and the National Capital Plan.
