The Property Council is seeking flexibility in the implementation of Green Standards for NT Government Leases.
While there is a huge potential to improve emissions reductions from existing buildings, genuine consideration needs to be given to:
- The nature of individual buildings and their capacity to improve.
- The necessity for practical, achievable, and cost-effective targets that can be applied to tenants as well as owners.
