On 3 May, the Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian announced that Harbour City Ferries, a partnership between Veolia Transdev and Transfield Services, had won the contract to operate Sydney Ferries under the NSW Government’s franchise model. The management transition is expected to commence in late July.
