An important, but often unheard, voice at local government elections is the business sector.
With the upcoming election scheduled for 8 September 2012, now is the time to register to have your say.
To vote in the City of Sydney elections, non-resident rate payer voters need to register every year to stay on the roll and be eligible to vote.
More information on how to register can be found at www.votensw.info. Claim forms can be downloaded from the forms section and these must be lodged and received by 6pm on 30 July 2012.
