Today, the Property Council announced the appointment of Ms Ellen Botha to the WA Division Council, the first female representative on the Division Council.
Ms Botha said, "I am pleased to become the first female on the WA Division Council as a representative of Westfield."
"The property industry has long been represented by males at senior levels- times are changing."
Ms Botha is currently the Centre Manager at Westfield Carousel. She has extensive experience in property management, having worked for over 5 years with Westfield and with Coles Myer previously.
Ms Botha has taken the position previously held by Mr Paul Lopez, following his resignation from Westfield.
Property Council President, Mr Tony Packer, said, "We welcome Ellen to the Property Council and look forward to her contributions."
