The Property Council congratulates the City of Ryde on its proactive and consultative approach with respect to Macquarie Park including the Macquarie Park Landowners Forum initiative.
The Property Council of Australia is the peak national representative of the property industry. Members of the Property Council are substantial investors, owners and developers in Macquarie Park and have made a significant contribution to its ongoing growth and success.
In this regard, we have a significant long-term interest in Macquarie Park's planning and development frameworks and its future growth, success and competitiveness.
In short, our major concerns relate to incremental and additional development costs that are incompatible with current market conditions.
