The Property Council of Australia is advocating for the creation of community titles in Western Australia. The Property Council submission to a State Government review of the land tenure system includes the following key reforms:
- the introduction of Community Titles in order for more than one management body to be established within a community development scheme;
- the establishment of Leasehold Titles; and
- the introduction of a mechanism for the termination of community development schemes on the vote of less than 100% of affected owners.
