The Property Council welcomes Sydney Water's commitment to implementing the State Government's recycled water production target of 70 billion litres by 2015, as outlined in the Metropolitan Water Plan, and acknowledges progress of the Western Sydney Recycled Water Scheme.
However, we do have strong concerns regarding the adverse and cumulative impact an increase in this recycled water charge will have on development feasibilities when considered in conjunction with other infrastructure levies and government imposed costs.
