The report, Enabling a Connected Community: Developing Broadband Infrastructure and Services in Metropolitan Western Australia, contains a number of misplaced recommendations.
The report was authored by the WA Technology and Industry Advisory Council and recommends that multi-carrier telecommunications conduits be mandated for new residential, industrial and commercial developments.
This recommendation is redundant due to existing guidelines.
