Charter Hall Retail REIT will acquire three sub-regional shopping centres in NSW for $100.7 million.

The portfolio comprises Tamworth City Plaza, Dubbo Shopping Centre, and the remaining 50 percent interests in Lake Macquarie Fair and Mount Hutton Shopping Centre.

The acquisition reflects an initial yield of 9.6 percent.

The REIT will undertake a fully underwritten $100 million institutional placement to fund the acquisition.
