Vaughan Constructions will develop the $30 million four star Green Star Cabrini laundry facilities at Logis Eco Industrial Estate in Dandenong South, Victoria.
Cabrini Linen Services will lease back the premises, which was pre-sold to an undisclosed private investor. CBRE negotiated the sale.
The 9000 sqm laundry will have rainwater tanks installed, automatic dripper irrigation, and use recycled water.
An on-site cogeneration plant will reduce its total gas input energy to boilers and power most of the operation’s equipment.
The laundry is expected to be fully operational mid-2013.
