The Property Council is now calling for committee nominations for the 2013-2014 term.
Advocacy is the Property Council’s core business and our policy work requires a team effort between staff and committee members. As the peak body for the property industry, the Property Council relies on the expertise of its committee members to shape the numerous policy submissions and ensure a first class events schedule.
Committees meet for an hour ten times a year and roundtables meet quarterly. The focus of these groups is to discuss industry issues as well as developing policy platforms and the committee events schedules.
Committee members are expected to attend and actively contribute to committee meetings, promote Property Council events and contribute to sub-committees when needed.
In 2013 the Property Council will be changing the structure of its committees to meet the changing face of the Queensland property industry.
