There are 500 Green Star rated projects across Australia, according to the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).
Since its launch in 2003, the Green Star rating system has been applied to 500 building projects, or 8 million sqm of commercial space, as of last week.
No. 500 was Australand’s Keysborough Spec 1 in Victoria, which received a 5 star Green Star industrial design v1 rating.
Romilly Madew, GBCA CEO, says there are currently more than 500 projects registered to achieve Green Star ratings in the future.
