Robinson’s Road South is set on 200 hectares of prime industrial land in Melton, bounded by Christies Road, Boundary Road, Robinsons Road and the future OMR and proposed East-West Bypass link.
This employment PSP has excellent access to the Deer Park bypass, ports, freight routes and the future Outer Metropolitan Ring Corridor. It will provide more than 4000 jobs when fully developed. While planning for this employment area has been complicated by the need to tie this in with freight rail planning in the Truganina area we now join with our partner in local government, Melton Shire in welcoming its completion.

This approval follows on from the January approval by the Minister of the Greenvale North and Greenvale West structure plans. This PSP takes the completed total to 21.
In an email update late last week, Peter Seamer, CEO of the GAA stated that the GAA intends to “make a significant dent on the planned land demand/supply situation in Melbourne, which will have a positive effect on housing affordability.”
The Property Council’s Joint Planning and Residential Developers Greenfield Development Subcommittee has undertaken an extended piece of research into the time taken for PSPs to be approved and the impact of affordability and land supply in Melbourne’s Growth Areas.
This research is still to be finalized however; the Property Council will be presenting it to the Minister for Planning in the near future in the form of a traffic light analysis of the overall performance of the GAA, growth area councils and the Victorian Government within the PSP process.
